The only thing that interferes with my learning is my education. Albert Einstein

See below for the description of the project NAE

Dear friends,

We sometimes believe it takes a teacher for a learning experience to

take place.

We are launching a new experimental project that aims to connect

people who want to share their interests with people who are ready

to be on the accepting side of sharing. The open secret

behind this initiative is our desire to discover new ways of relating to

ourselves and to others.

How does it work? You share a practice, something you love to do. In

your free time and at the convenience of your home, you are invited to

virtually connect with another person and teach, talk to, interview, or

eye-gaze with him/her around any subject, something well-defined or

not at all. There is no commitment involved, and no one will expect

you to repeat the session in the same or different format ever again

(unless you want to).

The sharing is meant to benefit “the giver” and “the receiver” equally.

One doesn't need to be a professional to be good at sharing.

So, for example, if one wants to test their English language teaching

skills, they should not be wary that they are not good enough at

teaching English. The sessions they will teach will only be repeated in

case of mutual agreement between both participants.

So, if you are ready to put yourself in a role-playing situation for the

sake of connection, learning, or simply enjoying life to its fullest, the

only thing needed for your participation is the knowledge of the role

you want to assume for the first session.

Don’t hesitate to contact us to be matched based on your interests.

Here are the examples of encounters that have already happened as

part of the project NAE:

  • A Ukrainian teenager on the verge of a mental crisis learned about a methodology to learn French he didn't know about before. This methodology helped him survive his first year in a French school.

  •  An 8-year-old daughter of busy parents dreaming of learning to knit found a patient soul who could explain the basics of knitting.

  • An American writer participated in an event that helped her discover the end of her newly composed story.

  • A senior citizen of a town bombarded by Russian missiles found a way to relax and sleep.

  • A depressed person from Paris met an anxious person from Paris, and the two discovered that their communication was healing for both of them.

  • Two people with an annoying amount of mental chatter were capable of sitting together to meditate in the quiet of the Zoom session.
